Brother Michael (Rev. Michael J. Cauley, OSM),
President of the Universal Life Church World Headquarters

Brother Michael is the only leader of a Universal Life Church to have been baptized, confirmed and ordained within the Christian faith. However, make no mistake Brother Michael will tell you the leader of the Universal Life Church is not he, but it is Jesus Christ. Brother Michael is only President of the ULC because man's law requires such, but there is many who comprise the hierarchy of the ULC and together we are each disciples of Christ doing what we do out of love for all of our brothers and sisters.

Brother Michael has had a life long affiliation and friendship with the Salvatorian Order and the Sisters of The Divine Savior, both Religious Orders having played an instrumental role in his upbringing. Even though it was an informal relationship, with three of his sisters being Sisters of the Divine Savior, Brother Michael credits the SDS and Salvatorian Community for much of his knowledge, experience and simply keeping his head on the right track. Brother Michael views both communities as an extension of his family and loves them dearly.

Brother Michael has 18 years of private school education, holding a BS, Secondary Ed K-12 and a Masters, as well as a Doctorate in Theology, Th.D. Brother Michael holds further certification through Cardinal Stritch College of Milwaukee, WI.

Brother Michael in June of 1982 founded Universal Fortune Group, more commonly known as UFG Ministries, the parent company that merged with and became known as the Universal Life Church World Headquarters. In the past 30 years Brother Michael has become a highly successful administrator, entrepreneur and benefactor for a number a charities. At the time of the merger UFG Ministries had a following of nearly 3.5 million, with 7,500 ordained Ministers throughout the world. Through the years Brother Michael has received a great many titles and awards from various organizations.

Despite being raised in a staunch Catholic environment, that included taking a pathway to the Priesthood, Brother Michael opted to walk away from the Roman Catholic Church believing he could fulfill his calling not just as a Minister, but as a Father and family man as well. Brother Michael also has a very stable, rewarding and gratifying homelife with a beautiful woman, her daughter and three children of his own with two grand children and more on the way.

Why The Universal Life Church?

Brother Michael states as follows;

The name "Universal Life Church" is by name the birthright of every Christian that has ever walked the face of this earth. The Roman Catholic Church attempts to pass themselves off as the one and only Church of Jesus Christ, even citing St Peter as the first Pope. This is not true and it is a very debated question.

 

Daniel Brooks "Bodhi" Chapin is both a Licensed and Ordained Non-Denominational, Christian Minister. A certified Pastoral Counselor through the International Association of Pastoral Counselors, Daniel is also affiliated with the American Association of Wedding Officiants, the Bridal Association of America and possesses specialty license in Christian Chaplaincy and Ministerial Ordination through United Christian Ministries International and the UCMI/National Theological Pastoral Training Institute.

In 2007 Daniel became connected with the Presidential Prayer Team based out of Washington D.C. and is affiliated with such groups as Focus on the Family and Compassion International.

Always And Forever Weddings was born in 1998 out of Daniel's heart for couples who may not necessarily be committed to a specific church or those of whom find their current church pastor/officiant unavailable to preside over their wedding day ceremony. Daniel also holds a special dedication to aiding couples in accessing tools to increase their potential for marital success and in providing couples with healing and growth should their relationship find itself challenged.

As of January 2009 Always & Forever Weddings has honorably responded to over 10.000 couples from 24 U.S. States; seeking information on our services. We have responded to our growth and increased demand for our services by adding other licensed officiants from all Denominational spectrums & have expanded our services to include Pre/Post Marital Counseling.

Numerous weddings have been Coordinated and Officiated over in a variety of settings - From Hawaiian style beach weddings, to the more formal Church wedding service.

In late Spring 2009 Always and Forever - Weddings received nomination for the Princeton Premier Business Award of Excellence.

Historically, our Universal Life Church World Headquarters Vice President and Always and Forever Wedding's Founder has worked as an Emergency Medical Services Chaplain, a Critical Incident Stress Manager as well as a Rehabilitation Specialist in the Mental Health Field in Southern California. He is endorsed as a certified expert in Acute Traumatic Stress Management, Critical Incident Stress Management and is a former listed member of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress International Registry as well as a former member of the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation.

Daniel also has received National Training recognition in the field of National Crisis Intervention through the National Fire Academy and The Department of Homeland Security and has been honored with numerous recommendations including a Commendation of Service Award from the Consulate Generale of Mexico for his actions to aide victims of Hurricane Pauline while serving with SOS International, LLC., based out of Nevada. From a Large, Loving family, Daniel Initially pursued Undergraduate Research at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California. Daniel eventually left LMU to travel and eventually attend more Ministry specific specialty training spanning over 6 years. Adding to his resume he went on to serve in public office for the City of Laguna Beach, CA while pursuing a seat on the City Council in the mid - 1990's.

Pursuing a steady heart for Youth & Family, Daniel began serving Youth & Community through various programs such as the CSP Youth Shelter in Southern California while continuing in his Ministerial Direction & Training; eventually founding the International Coalition of Youth For Christ and moving on to serve as a Youth Leader through Calvary Chapel affiliation for a time. Daniel added to his experience working with Contemporary Christian Artists such as Bethany Dillon & Rebecca St James through EMI-CMG The Movement in Nashville, Tennessee. Daniels heart for Ministry and his growing desire to serve youth and adults often left him disenfranchised at times with what has too often become an Institution of Religion and the growing alienation he saw existing between the church and the people, most especially the youth.

This led Daniel to become affiliated and accept office as Vice President of the Universal Life Church; a not for profit organization which seeks to bring Christian Denominations together and empowers individuals to "BE the Church not simply GO to Church..." Daniel has been associated with and has held a leadership position with the Universal Life Church for nearly twenty years, making Daniel Chapin one of the longest tenured leaders and/or officer in the history of the Universal Life Church.

Daniel continues in his life passion serving this generation of youth and the betterment of the Local, National and International Communities; while continuing to serve couples throughout Southern California with quality wedding officiation services, wedding planning, pastoral counseling and general marriage counseling.

Rev Dr Joel Lamoure is the Executive Director of

Medical Advisory Board

Rev. Dr. Joel Lamoure is a multiple national and international award-winning Associate Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Medicine at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry (SSMD), and Assistant Director of CME-Department of Psychiatry, University of Western Ontario and Teaching Associate, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto. In his hospital clinical practice, he serves as a psychiatric pharmacist at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital. On the research side of the bench, Dr. Lamoure is an Associate Scientist at the Lawson Health Research Institute, affiliated with the London Hospitals. He is an Accreditor with Accreditations Canada specializing in medication management and mental health with an interest in infection control and ambulatory care. There are almost a dozen Ask The Expert publications written in Medscape written by Professor Lamoure. Starting in December 2008, Joel took over as the Medical Psychiatry Consultant expert for the Canadian Journal of CME and Pharmacy Mental Health expert for Pharmacy Gateway (Canadian Healthcare Network). He has recently been inducted into membership with the European Congress of Neuropsychopharmacology (ECNP).

He has won the Western Teaching Roll of Honour in Medicine for the past 5 academic years, the most recent being the 2009-2010 academic year . He has also won the UWO CME Award in Medicine for 2007 and the University Of Toronto Teaching Award in 2006. He has published over 100 journal papers, poster abstracts, methodologies of practice and consultant reviews on mental health medications and their impact to the patient and their quality and quantity of life. Joel was awarded a Fellowship in the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (Geriatrics) in 2000, and completed his D.D. in 2011 with the Universal Life Church. Areas of interest and research include medical conditions that overlap and augment the severity of psychiatric disorders, patient care deliverable models, medical metaphysics and impacts of alternative treatments and psychopharmacology.

Rev. Dr. Lamoure is a listee in numerous publications recognizing his work including the Canadian Book of Who’s Who (2008, 2009, 2010 Centennial Ed,2011 ediditions), and the prestigious referenced Marquis Book of “Who’s Who in Medicine in the World” (7th, 8th and 9th International editions starting in 2009, Marquis Book of “Who’s Who in the World” for 2011 and 2012 and the Marquis Book of “Who’s Who in Science and Engineering” for the 2011-2012 edition.

I am a Christian and was ordained a Presbyterian Deacon January, 1993, but I am now compelled to further my relationship with God by ministering to others through “MandysPath” Ministry.

I was ordained a Minister, Order of St. Michael’s, March, 2011; designated an Independent Catholic (Christian) Bishop, May, 2011; honored with a Doctorate of Divinity from Universal Life Church World Headquarters, Inc., May, 2011.

I was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wagner College, May, 1976. I was employed as a Registered Professional Nurse, specializing in hospice nursing for the terminally ill, home care, discharge planning and high level trauma case management.

I have been married since 1975 to a wonderful man, Daniel, and we relocated to SC from the NYC area in 2000. I have a son Daniel and his wife Melissa who live in NYC. My daughter Sabrina and her husband Henry and my grandson Landon live in SC. My father Harold shares our home with us.

In 1992, at the age of 22 he married his best friend, and moved to Washington State, again working in Youth Ministry. In 1996 he was called by The Lord to move back to California where he rejoined his uncle in a Christian Music Ministry serving as sound technician during the musical portion, as well as the service itself. Rev Brian has also produced 4 Christian Music Albums and hosted a weekly radio broadcast in the San Francisco Bay Area.

In 1998 he accepted a position as Youth Pastor at Christian Life Center Church in El Sobrante, CA, a Church that was founded by his Grandparents, eventually being appointed tothe position of Co-Pastor.

Rev Brian Linebarger is a Fourth Generation Faith Based, Christian Pastor who began working in the ministry at the age of 15, helping in his Church youth group. At the age of 18 he was ordained and began traveling with a Gospel Music Artist doing several tours in Europe, as well period Reverend Brian considered pursuit of his academic studies, earning a Doctorate of Theology, Th.D.

In 2005 Reverend Brian felt God’s call to move away from a denominational setting and he founded Pacific Life Church. The Universal Life Church World Headquarters has been extremely fortunate to become an affiliate Church of Pacific Life Church with Reverend Brian serving as one of our Churches Officers, in addition appointment to our Board Of Bishop’s. Reverend Brian also serves as Executive Director for the ULC Radio Network, and the ULC Minister's Network and Forum.

Doctrine, Beliefs, Tenets & Apostolic Succession

The Universal Life Church World Headquarters, Inc. (ULC) believes in spreading the Good News of Our Lord Jesus Christ and we adhere to the Christian Doctrine. We are non-denominational and we offer both Non-Denominational ordinations as well as Independent Catholic ordination. And/Or In Addition Thereto We Believe: 

That the Bible is the verbally inspired, inerrant Word of God. It is the complete revelation of His will for salvation and the only unfailing rule of faith and practice for the Christian life.

In one God, Creator of all things, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that these three are co-eternal and of equal dignity and power.

In the deity of Jesus Christ; His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit; His virgin birth; His sinless life; His substitutionary death on a cross; His bodily resurrection;

His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and His personal, imminent return.

That man was created by and for God; that by man's disobeying God, every person incurred spiritual death, which is separation from God, and physical death as a consequence; and that all people are sinners by nature and practice.

The Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins and that all who believe in Him are declared righteous because of His sacrificial death and are, therefore, in right relationship with God.

In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit indwelling all believers and thus enabling and empowering the life and ministry of the believer.

In the bodily resurrection of everyone who has lived, the everlasting blessedness of those in right relationship with God, and the everlasting punishment of those who have rejected God's forgiveness in His Son.
